Senior year can feel like a whirlwind. Between tackling college applications and determining your first steps after high school, you often work tirelessly to maintain good academic standing amidst a marathon of academic, social, and extracurricular activities.
As the year draws to a close, it may also become time to look into securing financial support for your academic future. Whether that be through federal and state aid, or scholarships, this process can be quite overwhelming.
However, it does not need to be a stressful event only focused around the money. While the Stanley Ann Dunham Scholarship Fund takes pride in offering two generous awards, scholarships can be more than simply financial aid. They are also an opportunity to showcase your passions, strengths, challenges and commitments; and how these are preparing you to step into the world as transformative and socially-conscious leaders.
With that said, the Stanley Ann Dunham Scholarship Fund enthusiastically invites all young women in their senior year at Mercer Island High School and Rainier Beach High School to apply to the Stanley Ann Dunham Scholarship. If you are empowered to share the impactful events and works of your academic career and personal life, we sincerely encourage you to share your stories.
The Stanley Ann Dunham Scholarship Fund has the privilege of supporting a diverse, unique group of incredible young women, and we look forward to maintaining this legacy. If you are interested in hearing more about our scholars, we welcome you to read about them on our scholars page.
