My education has emboldened me to pursue change in the various inequitable systems that surround us. My commitment to campaigning and organizing around creating meaningful change is lifelong, and I aim to continue supporting my communities as I transition into college and my dream of entering the healthcare field. I will be attending the University of Washington for both the Neuroscience program and an amazing, diverse education that will further enrich my growth and perspective as I work towards medical school. I‘m deeply grateful for the Stanley Ann Dunham Scholarship Fund Committee‘s support, and I hope to expand my vision towards addressing healthcare inequity and inaccessibility within local and global communities.
